Gift Card Purchases
Use this page to look up and report gift cards that were sold or issued — who bought them, card number, amount, dates, and whether the card is still valid. Customers buy and redeem on POS (or online); admin does not sell new cards here.
Open the screen: Sidebar → Guest Services → Gift Card Purchases
Read-only screen
There is no Add or Edit — only search, refresh, export, and the list.
Plan add-on
Requires the Gift cards add-on and GIFT CARD module permission.
Summary cards
What it does
Six tiles at the top show business-wide stats from the API (not limited to the current table page).
What the cards show

| Total Purchase Amount | Sum loaded onto cards (your currency) |

While loading, tiles show skeleton placeholders.
Gift cards list
What it does
Searchable, paginated table (desktop) or card blocks (mobile) of gift cards.
Step-by-step
- Open Gift Card Purchases.
- Optionally search (see below).
- Read summary cards, then the Gift Cards (N) section — N is rows on the current page.
- Tap refresh — Refreshed / Gift card data has been refreshed.
- Use pagination to change page or rows per page (default 10).
Search

There is no location filter — scope is what the API returns for your account.

Status logic
- Active — active and not expired
- Expired — past expiry
- Inactive — otherwise
- Used — additional badge when card is marked used
Mobile / tablet
Same fields shown as stacked card blocks instead of a table.
Summary vs table
Summary cards reflect all cards the API knows about; the table shows one page at a time.
Common mistakes / FAQs
- “No gift cards found”. Subtitle: Try adjusting your search query — clear search or confirm cards were sold on POS with gift cards enabled for the location.
- “No Data” / “No gift cards to export”. Current page has no rows.
- “Export Failed”. Retry; if it persists, contact support.
- Export missing cards. PDF details include current page rows only — increase rows per page or export multiple pages.
Export PDF
What it does
Downloads Gift_Cards_Report_YYYY-MM-DD.pdf.
Step-by-step
- Tap Export (download icon).
- Toast Exporting... / Preparing your PDF file.
- On success: Success / Gift cards exported successfully.
PDF contents
- Gift Card Purchases Report title
- Generated date/time and Total Records (all matching search, all pages)
- Summary Statistics — same six metrics as top cards
- Gift Cards Details — rows from current page only
- Footer: Generated from Pratham ResPOS and page numbers
