Online Promotions
Use this page to manage banners and offers shown on online ordering (website/app): name, category, description, image, and active status. This is not for SMS/email blasts — use Marketing Campaigns for those.
Open the screen: Sidebar → Promotions Management → Online Promotions
Plan feature required
Your subscription needs campaign tools (SMS & email). Without it, you see an upgrade message instead of the list.
Not the same as Promo Codes
Promo Codes are coupons entered at checkout. Online Promotions are promotional content/cards for the online menu experience.
Online promotions list
What it does
Shows a filterable, paginated list of online promotions with view, edit, and delete actions.
Step-by-step
- Open Promotions Management → Online Promotions.
- Optionally set Location or Search (both filter the current list on screen).
- Read the table — ID, Name, Description, Status, Actions.
- Tap refresh — toast: Refreshing Online Promotions / Online promotion data is being refreshed.
- Use pagination at the bottom when many rows exist.

Location filter is on-screen only
Changing Location filters what you already loaded — it does not call the server with a new outlet ID.
Common mistakes / FAQs
- I see “No online promotions found.” Clear Search or tap Add Online Promotion.
- Add or Edit is disabled. Ask your administrator for CREATE or UPDATE on Online Promotions.
Add or edit an online promotion
What it does
Creates or updates one online promotion in a dialog.
Step-by-step
- Tap Add Online Promotion, or Edit (pencil) on a row.
- In Add Online Promotion / Edit Online Promotion, fill the fields below.
- Optionally upload Promotion Image (see Promotion image).
- Tap SUBMIT (or RESET / Cancel). While saving: Saving...
- On success: Online promotion created successfully or Online promotion updated successfully.
Dialog fields

View mode: View Online Promotion — all fields disabled; tap Close.
Promotion image
What it does
Adds or replaces the banner image. Upload opens a 16:9 crop step before save.
Step-by-step
- In the dialog, use Click to upload image or drag and drop.
- In Adjust Image - 16:9 Ratio, crop the image → Crop Image (or Cancel).
- After upload: badge Image uploaded; hover for Change Image or Delete.
Requirements (on screen)
- Recommended 1920×1080px, max 5 MB, JPEG/JPG/PNG
- Crop enforces 16:9 aspect ratio
Common mistakes / FAQs
- Invalid file type / too large / wrong aspect ratio. Follow the on-screen limits; use the crop dialog for ratio.
- Categories dropdown empty. Wait for load or check that active categories exist in your setup.
Delete an online promotion
What it does
Permanently removes one promotion.
Step-by-step
- Tap Delete (trash) on the row.
- In Are you absolutely sure?, confirm — This action cannot be undone...
- Tap Delete or Cancel.
- On success: Online promotion deleted successfully.
