Customer Display
Use this page to upload images and videos for the customer-facing screen at the counter. Media plays in the slideshow on POS while the cart shows on the other side (unless POS is set to Show Only Media).
Open the screen: Sidebar → Promotions Management → Customer Display
Pair with POS settings
On POS, open Settings → Customer Display to pick which Media Group plays and slide timing. Media files are managed here in admin.
Create groups first
Define group labels on Promotional Groups, then assign a Group when you upload each file.
Media library
What it does
Shows uploaded files as cards with preview, aspect ratio, group, and view/delete actions. No table, search, or pagination.
Step-by-step
- Open Promotions Management → Customer Display.
- Wait if skeleton placeholder cards show (loading).
- Browse cards — thumbnail, file name, upload date, Type, Groups.
- Tap refresh to reload the list.
- Use card actions — View or Delete.

- Up to 30 images and 5 videos total
- Max 5 MB per file; JPG, JPEG, PNG, MP4
Aspect ratios
5:4 (1280×1024) — cart ~30%, media ~70%. 16:9 (1920×1080) — full screen media layout.
Common mistakes / FAQs
- “No files found”. Tap Add Files to upload your first asset.
- “Failed to load files”. Tap Try Again on the error page.
- No edit for existing files. Delete and re-upload to change name, group, or ratio.
Add files
What it does
Queues one or more files, then uploads them with name, aspect ratio, and group.
Step-by-step
- Tap Add Files.
- In Add Files, read Aspect Ratio Information for 5:4 vs 16:9.
- For each file: choose File, enter File Name, select Aspect Ratio, select Group (promotional group type).
- Tap Add File to queue another, or Upload Now to upload one file immediately and close.
- Or tap Upload N File(s) to upload the whole queue (Uploading... while working).
- On success: Upload Successful! — dialog may stay open if an upload failed so you can retry.

View a file
What it does
Read-only preview and metadata.
Step-by-step
- Tap View on a card.
- In View File, review File Name, Aspect Ratio, File Type, Uploaded, Groups (No groups assigned if empty).
- Close the dialog.
Videos show a player; unsupported browsers see Your browser does not support the video tag.
Delete a file
What it does
Removes one or more files permanently.
Step-by-step
- Tap Delete on a card.
- In Confirm Delete, confirm — Are you sure you want to delete this file? This action cannot be undone.
- Tap Delete (Deleting... while working).
