Card details are never entered here

Adding or changing a payment card always happens on Stripe's own secure page, opened from buttons on this screen — you never type card details directly into Pratham ResPOS.

The page has four tabs: Overview, Add-ons, History, and Change Plan (labelled Choose Plan if you're not subscribed yet).

Overview

What it does

Shows your current plan, billing total, active add-ons, and next renewal date, plus any action you need to take.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Subscription — you land on Overview.
  2. Read the plan card and stat tiles: Plan, billing total, Active add-ons, and next renewal / access-ends / first-charge date.
  3. Tap View N features to see the full feature list for your plan.
  4. Tap Manage add-ons to jump to the Add-ons tab.
  5. Tap Manage billing to open Stripe's billing portal (update your card, view invoices).
  6. Tap Change plan to jump to Change Plan.

If your subscription is set to cancel

You'll see what happens when it ends — your team loses POS/admin access, active add-ons cancel automatically, and your data is kept until the end date. Tap Resume subscription to keep your plan active.

Add-ons

What it does

Lists every add-on available on your plan, and lets you add, adjust the quantity of, or remove one.

Step-by-step — add an add-on

  1. Open the Add-ons tab.
  2. Find the add-on and tap Add to plan (or Request review if it needs approval, e.g. on a custom plan).
  3. If it's a per-unit add-on, set the quantity.
  4. Review the charge preview and which card will be charged.
  5. Tap Confirm & charge card (or Submit for review / Send request, depending on the add-on).
  6. On success, you'll see a confirmation — the add-on activates immediately, or a request is sent for review.

Step-by-step — change quantity on an active add-on

  1. Use the + / − stepper next to the add-on.
  2. Review the From / To summary and the prorated charge or credit.
  3. Tap Confirm & charge card (increase) or Confirm change (decrease).

Step-by-step — remove an add-on

  1. Tap the trash icon next to an active add-on.
  2. For a one-time add-on, review the no refund notice, then tap Remove without refund.
  3. For a recurring add-on, choose Cancel immediately or leave it off to cancel at the end of the current cycle, then tap Remove Now / Schedule Cancellation.

One-time add-ons are not refunded

Removing a one-time add-on does not refund what you paid for it.

Some add-ons need approval

Add-ons marked for review (or anything on a Custom plan) don't charge instantly — you'll see a numbered "what happens next" explainer instead, and your account manager follows up.

Common mistakes / FAQs

Why is Add-ons greyed out?

You either don't have an active subscription yet — subscribe first from Change Plan — or you're on a legacy plan that needs to move to a current plan before add-ons are available.

My purchase says "Confirm your payment" — what now?

Your bank needs extra verification (3-D Secure). Tap Confirm payment to finish it on your bank's page — nothing is charged until you complete that step.

I already have a request pending — can I submit another?

No — you'll see "You already have an open request". Wait for the existing request to resolve, or cancel it first from the open-request banner.

History

What it does

Shows your invoices and a timeline of account activity. Read-only.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the History tab.
  2. In Invoices, review invoice number, date, billing period, amount, and status.
  3. Tap View to open the invoice on Stripe, or PDF to download it.
  4. In Activity, scroll the timeline of plan and add-on changes.

Empty states

  • No invoices yet — appears here once Stripe issues your first invoice.
  • No activity yet.

Change Plan

What it does

Compares plans side by side and lets you subscribe, upgrade, downgrade, or switch.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Change Plan (or Choose Plan if you have no active subscription).
  2. Toggle Bundled with payments or Software-only depending on how you want to pay.
  3. Tap See full plan on any card to compare features and add-ons in detail.
  4. Tap the action button on the plan you want:
    • Subscribe — if you have no active subscription, this goes straight to Stripe Checkout.
    • Upgrade / Downgrade / Switch — opens a preview of the change.
    • Request Plan — for the custom Smart Pay tier.
  5. On the preview, review the monthly difference, the proration charge or credit, and any features or add-ons you'd gain or lose.
  6. Tap Submit for Review (most changes go to our team for approval) or Add Payment Method & Switch (if you still need to set up billing).
  7. On success: Plan change request submitted — our team reviews it and sends a payment link if needed.

Downgrading may exceed your new plan's limits

If you have more active locations or terminals than the new plan allows, you'll be asked to choose what to keep — pick which ones to keep, or tap Add & keep everything to buy an add-on instead of dropping any.

Common mistakes / FAQs

Why does my change need review instead of applying instantly?

Nearly all plan changes go through a review step so our team can adjust billing and confirm the switch date with you — you'll be notified once it's approved.

Can I talk to someone instead of self-serving this?

Yes — tap Contact Sales on any plan card, optionally add a message, and tap Send request.

Tips

  • Set up a payment method as soon as your trial starts — several banners and actions stay locked until a card is on file.
  • Use See full plan before switching, so you know exactly which features you'd gain or lose.
  • If a feature elsewhere in the app is locked, its upgrade prompt links straight back here with the right add-on ready to review.
