Tables
The Tables screen shows a live floor plan of every table in your venue. From here, staff can open orders, seat guests, switch tables, merge tables for combined bills, and see which tables have upcoming reservations.
Opening the Tables screen
Tap Operations → Tables in the navigation menu. The floor plan loads with each table colour-coded by its current status.

Table status colours
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Available | Table is free and ready to seat |
| Occupied | Table has an active open order |
| Reserved | Table has an upcoming reservation - tap to view reservation details |
Each table card shows the table name, seating capacity, current status, and number of guests when occupied.
Assign a table to an order
From the POS order screen
- Select Dine-In as the order type.
- Tap the Table selector in the cart panel.
- Tap an available table from the list or layout.
- Add items and proceed as normal.
From the floor plan
- Tap Operations → Tables.
- Tap an Available table.
- A new Dine-In order is created and linked to that table.
- Add items on the POS order screen.
Open an occupied table
To add items or manage an order at a table already in use:
- Tap Operations → Tables and tap the occupied table, or
- Find the order in the open orders list and tap it.
The order opens with all current items visible.
Switch a table
Use Switch Table when guests move to a different table mid-service and you need to move the entire order with them.
- Open the active order at the current table.
- Tap the table name or the Switch Table button in the cart panel.
- The table selection screen opens - only tables without an active order are selectable.
- Tap the destination table.
- The order moves instantly. The original table becomes Available.

INFO
The POS records which table the order was originally on. This is visible in the order details for reference and reporting.
Merge tables
Use Merge when guests at different tables want one combined bill. Merging moves all items from one table's order into another. The source table is cleared and becomes Available.
- Open the active order at the destination table (the one that will absorb the others).
- Tap Merge Tables in the cart panel or table actions menu.
- Tap one or more occupied tables to merge into this order.
- Confirm the merge.
All items from the selected source tables move into the destination order. The merged order shows a Merged badge listing all combined tables. On the floor plan, merged tables show a purple indicator.

Unmerge a table
- Open the merged order.
- In the merged tables list, tap × next to the table to remove.
- Confirm.
WARNING
Unmerging does not move items back to the original table - items stay on the current order. Adjust the cart manually after unmerging if needed.
Split the bill at a table
For guests at the same table who want to pay separately:
- Open the table's order.
- Tap Checkout.
- Tap Split Payment on the payment screen.
See Payments - Split Payment for the full walkthrough.
Clear a table
A table clears automatically and returns to Available when its order is paid in full or voided. You cannot manually clear a table with an open unpaid order - complete or void the order first.
Upcoming reservations on the floor plan
Tables with upcoming reservations show a Reserved status. Tap a reserved table to see the guest's name, party size, and arrival time.
For the full reservation workflow - creating bookings, managing status, blocking days, and the timeline view - see Table Reservations.
Table configuration
🔒 Manager only - tables are created and configured under Operations → Table Management on the POS. Each table has a name, capacity, type, shape, and online/in-store availability settings.
See Table Configuration for the full setup walkthrough.
