Operations
The Operations screen is the POS control hub. From one place you can switch order channels on or off, open the cash drawer, and jump to every management, financial, and reporting screen.
Tap Operations in the left navigation menu to open it.
🔒 Manager only - the Operations menu item is visible only to staff with Operations access. What you see on the screen also depends on your role's permissions.
Quick Actions
The coloured cards at the top toggle order channels and open the cash drawer. A green card means the channel is on; a red card means it is off. Tap a card to switch it.
| Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Online Orders | Turn online ordering on or off. When off, customers cannot place orders through your online channel. |
| Takeaway Orders | Turn takeaway ordering on or off. |
| Delivery Orders | Turn delivery ordering on or off. |
| Cash Drawer | Open the connected cash drawer for manual cash handling. No sale is recorded. |
TIP
Use the Online Orders toggle to stop new online orders quickly during a rush or at closing time. Turn it back on when you are ready to accept orders again.
WARNING
Turning a channel off stops new orders on that channel straight away. Orders already placed are not affected.

Shortcuts to the screens you use to run the venue. Each opens the relevant screen.

Some shortcuts appear only when the matching feature is set up or your role has access. For example, Uber Eats appears when the integration is connected.
Financial Operations
This section appears only if your role has POS Finances access.

| Advance Cash | Add or remove float from the register. Opens a dialog on this screen. |

I can't see the Financial Operations section - why?
Financial Operations is hidden for roles without POS Finances access. Ask a manager to grant the permission in the admin portal if you need Cash Up, Advance Cash, or reports.
