Sales Report

The Sales Report shows a live snapshot of today's trading - total revenue, order counts, hourly trends, payment method breakdown, and order status distribution.

Open from Operations → Sales Report.

Summary cards

Four cards appear at the top of the page:

Card	What it shows
Total Sales	All revenue collected today
Total Orders	Every order placed today, regardless of status
Avg. Order Value	Total sales ÷ total orders
Successful Orders	Orders that completed successfully, with a percentage of total orders

Hourly Sales chart

A bar chart shows sales across all 24 hours of the current day.

• Each bar represents one hour's total sales.
• Darker blue means closer to the peak hour. Light grey means no sales that hour.
• Hover over a bar to see the exact amount for that hour.
• The peak sales hour is shown in the top-right corner of the chart.

If no orders have been placed yet today, the chart shows "No hourly data available".

Order Status panel

Sits alongside the hourly chart. Shows a breakdown of today's orders by status:

Element	What it shows
Status row	One row per status seen today
Count	Number of orders in that status
Percentage	Share of total orders
Progress bar	Visual width proportional to percentage

Status colours

Status	Colour
Completed / Finished	Green
Processing / Placed	Blue
Pending	Yellow
On Hold	Purple
Cancelled / Failed	Red
Refunded	Grey

Payment Methods section

At the bottom of the page, a full-width card shows how payment was split across methods.

Donut chart (left): Each arc shows one payment method's share of total sales by amount.

Payment method list (right):

Column	What it shows
Method name	Cash, Card, Gift Card, etc.
Transaction count	Number of transactions via this method
Total amount	Revenue collected through this method
% of sales	This method's share of total revenue

Data loading

• Data loads automatically when you open the page - no refresh button needed.
• The report always shows the current day.
• If figures look stale, navigate away and back to reload.
