Table reservations — settings

Menu: Table Reservation Management → Settings

Set booking rules for your restaurants: opening hours for reservations, party size limits, deposit rules, reminders, and other toggles your form lists.


How to work the page

  1. Move through each section or tab (labels match your live app).
  2. Change numbers or switches.
  3. Save each section if the page saves in blocks (some versions save all at once — follow the primary button text).

Toggles and fields reference

This list covers the current Booking Settings sections in the admin UI.

Slot Timing

Fields

  • Time Interval: slot spacing. Available values in UI: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes.
  • Default Duration (min): booking duration. Selectable in 15-minute steps from 00:15 to 08:00.

Toggle

  • Show Duration to Customer: ON/OFF switch controlling whether duration is shown in customer-facing flow.

Booking Window

Fields

  • Min Lead Time: minimum notice before booking. Selectable in 30-minute steps from 00:30 to 24:00.
  • Max Advance Booking (days): numeric input, minimum enforced value is 2.

Guest Capacity

Fields

  • Min Guests per Booking: minimum party size, minimum value 1.
  • Max Guests per Booking: maximum party size, minimum value 1.

Booking Behaviour

Option sets

  • Table Assignment: Auto or Manual.
  • Online Acceptance: Auto Accept or Manual Review.

Toggle

  • Verify Guest User: ON/OFF switch for guest verification requirement.

Custom Preferences

Config fields

  • Preferences list: question list shown during booking.
  • Preference type: Single Choice or Multiple Choice.
  • Preference title: question label.
  • Options: answer choices shown to guests.

Custom Messages

Text fields

  • Booking Notice: short note shown before guest confirms booking.
  • Fully Booked Message: message shown when slots are unavailable.
  • Terms & Conditions: policy text shown before confirmation.
  • Confirmation Message: message shown after booking is confirmed.

Validation checklist before save

  • Check numeric minimums: max advance days >= 2, guest min/max >= 1.
  • Confirm selected modes (auto/manual) for table assignment and online acceptance.
  • Save and refresh once to verify values persist for the selected location.
  • Test one booking from customer flow to confirm lead time, capacity, and message behavior.

After changes

Test a booking from the customer journey or internal test link your administrator provides.
